Before hiring gear, please read the Gear Hire Policy. This sets out conditions of hire and explains liability for damaged or lost gear.Please transfer payment for gear promptly into the club account. Make sure you provide a reference so we can easily identify payment. For example, your name and "GEAR". Payment can also be made in cash to the trip organiser or gearshed officer.

 

AUCC owns and maintains an impressive fleet of rafts and whitewater kayaks which club members are able to hire at affordable prices. On big club trips, the trip organiser will coordinate gear and members should pay gear hire money to the trip organiser. We have our very own custom trailer and trip organisers always appreciate help loading it before a big club trip. For smaller club trips or personal trips, members need to contact the gearshed officer by emailing aucanoeclub@gmail.com to coordinate gear hire.

• 2 Topo Duos

• Plus 22 assorted older and/or novelty kayaks

• 8 canoe polo boats

• 5 Incept Rafts of various sizes (Baby, Tigger, Lola, Cherry and Ruby)

• Lots of paddles, lifejackets, helmets, sprayskirts, safety equipment, and other goodies.
